My Asos Wedges

I am so in love with my new wedges from Ravel on Asos.com. It's so comfortable and there is sponge inside the sole. The upper part of the wedges is made of leather and it's very light weight. The heel is around 4 inches with a 1 inch platform. Given the killer wedges, it's still very comfortable and walkable. Best wedges I have ever own!

The only drawback is my height. I am 5'6 and these lovely wedges will make me 6" tall. But tall girl still get to wear wedges!

Favorite Sunscreen for Spring and Summer

What is your favorite sunscreen for Spring and Summer time?
My favorite one is from Biore, pink bottle and only available in Taiwan. I got mine from my brother who just visited Taiwan last week. He helped me to stock up 3 bottles and I am more than happy!
Let's talk about the good things about this sunscreen. It has SPF 50, PA +++ protection and yet,  it is not greasy at all. I usually wear it as base and it does brighten up my skin tone.

Light and non greasy

For days that I need more moisture, I prefer Aquamoist sunscreen because of its liquid and milky texture. It has SPF 25, PA+++ and also suitable for daily use. It's the second bottle that I have and I really like it's texture on drier days.

So, these are two cheaper alternatives for oily skin type to welcome Spring and Summer.

Korean Beauty Products

Hey guys,
I have tried out a few Korean Beauty products these weeks and there are some hits and misses. Products I have used are listed below:
  1. Laneige Water Bank Essence Ex
  2. Laneige Make Up Remover Cleanser
  3. Scinic Tone up O2 Mask
My personal favorite goes to the first one,  Laneige Water Bank Essence Ex, which is also one of the best seller of the brand. The texture is a bit gel and cream mixture which can be quickly absorbed. I use 3-4 pumps for whole face after applying toner. Then I will seal the moisture with 2 pumps of Tony Moly Snail Cream. The best of this essence is that it's suitable for all season and weather.

The Laneige cleasner is fair and my skin feels a bit dry after wash. Yet, foam is rich and the smell is good. I would reccomend it for oily skin type if you need a strong cleanser. Normally I use it after make up remover.

The Scinic Tone up mask is fun to try out. I use 3-4 pumps for whole face and it's gel like at first. When you apply it to your face, it will turns into bubbles! Let the bubbles develop and rinse your face with water after 5-10 minutes. I do feel pores tighten and face whiten a bit after the mask. Yet, it's a bit dry too. I use it 2-3 times a week as a tightening mask and again, it's fun to use.

Hair Dye DIY

I just dyed my hair 2 days ago using Relvon's Color Silk and the color I used is Dark Golden Brown. It's a new color so I decided to give it a try. But I have to use two boxes for my long and thick hair. The result is amazing! It can be compared to salon level at a cheap price. My hair is dyed in a beautiful brown color with a touch of gold undertone. Also it's silky smooth after the dye. It does leave my hair in a better condition! Best DIY hair dye in the world!

I have tried dye my hair using natural henna powder and a Palty bubble hair dye before. The henna leaves a strong herbal smell on my hair for a few days and it doesn't dye my hair at all. But my hair does feel softer and shinier. The Palty bubble hair dye is easy to use and the color is nice. However, my hair feels so rough and dry after the hair dye.

If you have any brands to suggest, please comment below. I would love to try out new products. :)

Can't believe it's March already. Sorry for disappearing in the latter part of February, I've been swamped by work and new projects.

Apart from busy work life, I still managed to try out some beauty products and I am recently in love with Lumiere mineral powder and Kanebo cleansing cream.I will write a detailed review in the coming blog post about Lumiere mineral powder.

Whether you are wearing traditional make up products or mineral foundation, it's really important to remove it thoroughly at the end of the day. I have been using cleansing water and oil before, but I want to try something new. So I looked it up on the web and found that Kanebo cleansing cream has many good reviews and the price is cheap. So I give it a try and am in love with it!

It's easy to use, just massage your face in circular motion until the white cream turns into translucent oil. Tissue off then wash your face with facial cleansing products. My skin feels so soft and smooth after using the cleansing cream. Given that I have oily combination skin. I would say it works so much better than cleansing water and oil.

p.s. In the next blog post I will share my favorite and amazing hair products. They are working on my poor hair condition! (Just permed my hair two weeks ago...)
